Today we had a really exciting morning carving pumpkins. Our groups and helpers scooped out the pumpkin guts and seeds. It felt so cool, gross, tingly, slimy, and cold! First we weighed and measured our pumpkins and estimated how many seeds were inside. We counted the seeds, drew on a face, and cut out the design. Then we drew names to see which group member would get to take the pumpkin home, and one group even flipped a coin to find the lucky winner! Next Mrs. Naylor took our picture with our pumpkins and we took one big class picture. We will keep the pumpkins at school until Halloween.
